Sammy, When shares are held in the name of one party on behalf of another, they are held "in trust". The legal (nominal) owner is the one on the share certificate. The beneficial owner is the beneficiary of the trust. By utilizing trusts, you can mask true "benefical ownership" unless you are required to reveal such ownership by law. Hope this helps,
