Don you better believe it. I read in the NY post a couple of weeks ago that Barnes and noble president canceled a trip to England where B&N were supposed to open few new stores throughout Europe. the reason : to invest that money (initially intended to open up those stores) to improve and to focus in the internet shoping. These guys are dead serious about the internet.
