Selfcare / Trinity share dispute revisited...... Ronan O'Caoimh ( CEO ) Trinity Biotech, statement 11/05/97 " The Selfcare litigation is progressing, but it hasn't come to court yet. We actually have had an offer from Selfcare for settlement. somewhat over 50 %, but not enough really to tempt us. It's progressing. We're confident of the outcome. We have changed our lawyers a number of months ago and moved to a Boston firm, who are closer to Selfcare and we are finally taking despositions over the last eight weeks, we will proceed for the summary judgment. In overall terms, the shares are still worth $ 11 million and we are extremely, extremely positive about the ultimate outcome "
