When someone like Bush Jr gets into Yale, you know he only got in because of his connections. That's bullshit. What I want is for an admissions process that strips away the name of the person, so the application is anonymous, and they evaluate purely on performance: grades, test scores, community service, jobs held, leadership positions held, clubs joined, depth of passion for something, etc. But the minute you allow someone to have their name, color of their skin, or any other identifying factor be known by the admissions committee, then the process becomes a sham.
