DV, since you posted to me, I'll reply.

I don't pretend to understand the language you write in, or why you use the terminology you use. Perhaps other people do. I guess I am too simple minded. :)

I do suspect however, that you see complex things at play between one group and another, or several such groups working to this end and that end with "programming" and "counter-programming". We'll I've done programming for over 30 years and know exactly what that word means, and I am careful of the sense in which I use that word because words are very important.

A similar problem arises when a country uses the word "intelligence" to gather information. I see no intelligence there. Just abuse of language, among greater abuses.

You suggest that "we should be careful who we let in" as a general rule, and that this rule is used to create problems.

I took that one sentence to make a simple point. The same people who gripe about such things and throw in all kinds of complexities, along with attendant language, have done the same thing to other people all through history. One society rapes another society, time and again. All the fancy language and complex theses with this complexity and that complexity cannot cover this simple fact.

If we want to solve problems ..... if we *really* want to solve problems, we must start with ourselves. Saying "that guy over there or that group over there has this and that problem and we must do this and that thing to fix it" will do nothing to solve anything. Instead, it will make things worse.

Seems impractical? Yes. But so are the consequences of anything else. As you may see.

But one cannot see without simplicity. I love simplicity. So shoot me. :)
