Find out what the issue is (what the issues are) first. Then do like Weatherproof suggested - think outside the box ( if necessary) to resolve.

I manage a small mfg company. Several years ago we had so much business we couldnt keep up. We were working our guys as many hours as we could - in some cases 65-70 hours a week. It was VERY HARD work. And we had already found all the additional help we could in addition to sub-contracting all the work we could.

Then we got the chance to do even MORE work and the customer offered to pay a PREMIUM for our products. My production mgr said NO - there's no way we can do it. Our guys cant work any more hours.

I said Hold on a second. Let me think. So I went to the guys in the shop and told them about the opportunity. I offered them HALF of the PREMIUM the customer was offering us over and above the selling price he was willing to pay if they would work even more hours to build the product. So they would be getting their OT PLUS half the additional Premium that would normally go to our company. I wanted it to be a WIN-WIN.

They said HELL YEAH.

We got the business and had our best year ever.

Look for ways to get it done Dr Behzad. You're the man. Be the ball !!
