Well John, I go back to your post suggesting the co. revenues for the next qtr will be another disappointment. Unfortunately, it's shaping up that way if the stock action (or lack thereof) is any indication.

Investors, I believe, are focusing on management's lack of execution and inability to get the medical profession to embrace the NMP22. It has been suggested that doctors' will continue to use the current method of testing - if this is so, at best, its an indictment on physicians' irascibility. Although the (doctor's) profit motive (worst case) may perhaps have something to do with it, I'm perplexed management can't even get Kaiser to accept the kit company wide let alone the rest of the managed care industry.

Although management has indicated their ambivalence as to Bayer's decision on whether to exercise their option on the cervical test, I, for one as a shareholder, pray they do. Matritech not only needs the milestone payments, they need someone in their corner to help sell the darn thing. Mat has shown they would not be able to do it. Indeed, what will happen to the stock if Bayer DOESN'T pick up the option?

Heaven help me, but I'm still bullish on the co, (more specifically, their science). But it appears it's going to take even longer (yr 2000?) than I first anticipated for this co to become profitable (and this assumes Bayer's on board).

Regards, Bill
