Welcome back! I was pretty sure they would keep you in the hospital for at least four days. Now I wish I'd gotten a betting pool going and cleaned up. <vbg>

Military hospitals do have a bad rap and in the past it was largely deserved, but they seem to have done a 180. Nowadays, they can count themselves among the best, offering cutting-edge goodies to their patients. They also turn out a goodly crop of highly trained physicians in all medical specialties. Many fine doctors of medicine have earned their degrees in the military. One of the reasons I thought you would be hospitalized longer in a military hospital is that patients in military hospitals serve as teaching tools--more so than in civilian hospitals with their HMO and insurance constraints. I guess I should add that I see nothing wrong with this.
