Jim,

100Mhz bus speed socket 7 motherboards from all major mobo manufacturers are coming. I heard that Gigabyte and ECS are distributing these 100Mhz bus speed boards in Taipei for feedback.

If you could not wait and 128MB RAM is all you need, I would recommend Asus SP97V which was approved by Cyrix for MX-PR233. Not only having extremely stable 83Mhz bus speed, it is quite memory friend at that speed. I have tried various 60ns EDO and FP (of major brands) and have no problems. BTW, SP97-V has a jumper to select asynchronous PCI bus and could enable linear burst mode in BIOS.

After the pass of extraordinary, I bought 4 pcs. 60ns 32MB EDO (Micron OEM) @35 each to optimize my office system, M2-166Mhz. These RAM are the lowest that I ever paid. :)

You might visit Asus website for more details.
