Excellent analysis. I've posted similar things in the past. Liberals don't like those facts, because it destroys their narrative. There are only 4 ways to truly impact the deficit in a positive way and that is to cut social security, medicare, or military, or to increase taxes. Anything else is just pissing into a tsunami to try to hold it back. Instead, the Dems want to increase social security through UBI and make medicare for everyone, as well as increase taxes, while the Republicans want to increase military spending. That's why we're so f_ed. No one is talking common sense. Now Ocasio is talking MMT, which to the Dems is a free money printing spigot pig painted over with lipstick by failed economists pretending that deficits don't matter.
