RE: Running ProTA 3.25 on the newer macs (like Mac mini) which won't run High Sierra. I found this on a support site:

"The only possible way to run High Sierra on the new Mac Minis
is via a virtual machine environment using Parallels Desktop Mac

(a light version available in the MacApp Store lets you run any

macOS free of charge), VMware Fusion, or Virtual Box.

Bottomline, High Sierra simply does not have the drivers

needed for the new Mac mini hardware, plain and simple."

I haven't tried this yet, because I don't have one of the newer macs, so I can't testify that it works.
