I am listen to Commander Bob as I type, via the good folks at KMCO at the following... radio.audionet.com My local affiliate continues to pre-empt Bob for the ESPN Radio Network during the football season. Thanks to the work of KMCO and good folks like you, TB, I am able to keep abeast of the latest prognostications of one Mr. Brinker. He bagan his monologue today (perhaps they are playing yesterday's), opining on the value of low inflation rates as it relates to the maintenance of ones purchasing power vis-a-vis the cost of goods and services, as well as the maintenance of the real value of fixed-rate returning investments. His prediction of 1.5% inflation rate for 1998 was extremelly encouraging, both for bond and equity investments. Also interesting to note has been his discusion on trading SPY. With the advent of The Dow 30 DIA, which begins trading next Tuesday, I have taken the liberty to start a new thread which will deal with short-term trading strategies of SPY and DIA.. Subject 18911 Given the high quality of intellectual and civil discourse on this thread, I would be more than delighted to have the same level of contribution to the new thread.
