You have the following options when selling stocks:

1) All or none
2) Sell partially
3) Sell at market
4) Sell at a limitted price.

The same for buying stocks.

So the problem auy talked about was never a problem.

If you sell 100k shares, and you set a limitted price, and all or none, if no single buyer
can meet your requirement, then you just did not sell your 100k shares.
