I think the answer is much simpler then that.

In the UK the citizens should ask... Is their government doing the job expected of them?

If not ... things have to change. It's not just that Tony Blair is a war criminal (for example) ... he is, but he is a traitor too. A traitor to his party, but in particular is a traitor to his nation. That still has to be addressed.

Margaret Thatcher knew that Pan Am Flight 103 was brought down by a bomb of a CIA design planted by operatives under instruction of Syria, at the request of Iran as retribution for the USS Vincennes shooting down an Iranian passenger liner full of civilians. She lied to the Nation, and there was a cover up that spread across the world to the USA. That was not doing the job expected of her.

The government of a country is paid to look after the country under it's care. The UK government failed in a number of important aspects and being in the European Union didn't help at all. In fact there is very little use being in the European Union and it just triplicates the bureaucrats and dilutes the ability of a national government to look after the country under it's charge.

It doesn't matter what Rees-Mogg says, f**k him, just like Boris Johnson and Nigel, those guys will dig their own political graves with no additional assistance needed.
