Not quite sure but half-way through the call, it just feels like WDC is saying : "Look, flash market sucks, we'll have to wait, but in the meantime, we make money. Later this year, we'll make more money (cost-cutting). Later nobody knows when, we'll make tons of money again".

And I'm happy to hear that controller/firmware tech development is now fully internal & under control.
