thanks Iso,

100% reliance of blockchain on an ever riskier electric grid should be the number one concern. But it's never addressed....almost deliberately ignored.
Whether outage is local, regional, national or international, it's a choke point.
As the GSM progresses, infrastructure will suffer.
By the end of this month, for example, water mains throughout the mid-South will be a big issue.

There will be a greater frequency of ice storms over broad regions. Power lines will come down and outages could last for weeks. Wireless communication, dependent on towers, can also suffer.

The rapidly waning magnetosphere will allow less and less "severe" coronal hole streams and solar flares to disrupt the system. Disruptions are already becoming more common.

Gee-whiz advances that ignore what's coming don't have much chance of taking hold.

Maybe these things are already in the back of some peoples' minds and are the reason blockchain (and cryptocurrency) is currently moving at such a lackluster pace.
