I don't listen to Bob Brinker cause I haven't the routine on Saterday mornings to do so but a friend of mine does. He said that Bob says, and Bob is allways right, that the Asia thing is settled or nearly so. The market is forming a double bottom and poised to rocket upward. Says that he believes we will see 8800 in six to eight months and even possibly by end of Feburary. Whew! Now that takes some guts! Bob sticks to mutual funds apparently but if what he says is true invividual stocks are going to soar. What stock to own...that's the question. On another note, Seattle times quoted as saying COST is a Buy since it's target is 50 by year's end. Hmmm... 5 bucks in 11 months, I dunno if it's worth waiting for, I am thinking about bailing and putting my winnings on some semi or even Chart Industries I've held Cost since it was 17.75. Chart on the other hand is liable to launch back to 26 in a big hurry if all this rumoring is true. Now that's a nice gain, 18.50 to 26, Oh Baby! It's singing my song.... In case you haven't noticed I haven't got this diciplined unemotional aproach to investing down just yet <g>. jim PS: With only seconds left on the clock Jim rushes back to post this important message!!
