Ok - how about framing Bernie Sander's stand regarding being outside the
Democratic Party this way: with the issues he felt most passionate about,
he could not explore and push them within the party the way it was constructed
and with the people who were in charge at that time. So he chose to stand
apart. If he reunites with Democrats, which makes a lot more sense with
the various issues and dialog that are forcefully bubbling to the surface now,
it's because the Democratic Party has changed since the election.
