Howard Schultz announced his intent to announce his candidacy for President in 2020, on 60 Minutes. I don't think that was an announcement, but maybe it was. He would be neither a Democrat nor a Republican, and would be a Centrist appealing to the middle. It's January, so I don't think it's a repeat.

The WaPo editorial, Don't Do It, Howard is worth recalling or reading. They said he'll just split the Democrat and Bernie Sanders camps. And any other socialists who have big eyes.

He said he would release his tax returns, and have no affiliation with Starbucks. This might get Michael Bloomberg to announce and also go for the Presidency.
