Well, just got back from Best Buy in Allentown PA. They had 6 external Sparqs and about four SyJets in stock along with two three packs of cartridges for the Sparq. When I asked about the availability the sales person told me "They are sell like hot cakes, they must have gotten some great reviews or something." The Syjets were placed next to the Jaz drives in a glass case while the Sparqs were on a shelf immediately next to the Zips and Dittos. Unfortunately, I saw someone grab a Zip and head for the register. I quickly
asked him why he was getting the Zip, and he told me he needed it for school. Seems he goes to the same university I went to and is getting his PhD in Materials Sci. I spent about 10 min. trying to sell him on the Sparq, but he bought the Zip anyway. Transfer of files from machine to machine was the selling point. The have Zips at his work place (Lucent Tech) and at his University (Lehigh U.) BUMMER!!!
Well, I tried.

Tom.
