First of all I don't for one second feel that these "nice" people are investing and doing things to be nice. They are investng for the same reasons you and I and everyone else is-to make money. I agree with you that the coming year will be volatile in the market, however one of the few sectors that will see a bull run this coming year is the y2k sector. Not every single y2k company will make a lot of money but this is the year for that sector in general to make it big. I don't forsee investors as savy as the ones listed on the PP as the type to jump out of a hot sector and into a frigid area that much of the rest of the market may be in. From every thing I have seen and read in the past year this coming year is "the" year for the y2k sector, so I find it hard to argue with so many of the experts as to which sectors will be hot. Would banking be a better sector considering its vulnerability to not only the y2k problem(read page 74 of the Jan. 26., Business Week)but the Asian problem could cause added trouble to banking. That holds true for many other sectors. The y2k sector is one which most companies cannot "run" away from. They have to face it and they have to face it soon. To think otherwise is to ignore all the facts that are constantly coming out now and that have been for a while. You may feel that IAIC is one of the companies that won't make a lot of money from the impending "crisis", I happen to disagree. No, there are no nice people investing to give me or you a break, but there are people that have done a lot of investgating and they have come to the conclusion that they have an excellent chance of making a great deal of money by investing in IAIC. During the next 2 months I believe we will see an enormous upswing in IAIC's contracts and revenues. After which we will see an even bigger increase. I think we shall start to hear about some of these contracts and revenues in the next week or so.
But Jake, if you think IAIC is such a poor investment, I can only say you would be wise to keep your money out of it or you should try to short it.
To everyone-have a nice day.
