I haven't given up completely. I guarantee my next computer purchase will include a zip or other type of drive that can handle back up quickly & easily. As for now, I'm going to live with what I have (1.44 mb floppy). True, I spent 30 minutes or more this mourning backing up. But, I'd rather do that than take a chance on larger system failure because I "failed to follow manufacturers instructions". Or, more likely, grow impatient and ruin my whole day to no avail- I've been there installing modems. - Dave
