This afternoon the Coast Guard caught ten Chinese nationals, nine menand one woman, with two Mexican smugglers when they landed their panga boat at Huntington Beach - sandiegouniontribune.com The US Coast Guard spokesman said, "The twelve individuals were apparently not aware of the fact that they're supposed to try to cross the border 120 miles to the south where the double border wall is located and patrolled by the Border Patrol." More than 90% of illegal border crossers now arrive at airports on commercial flights with temporary tourist visas which they over-stay. But an increasing number are now arriving by private aircraft and boats. The US Coast Guard has even intercepted drug smugglers using small submarines! Sam Keaton from the local Homeland Security office told reporters, "Smugglers are now ignoring a perfectly good border fence and and showing a blatant disregard for the long tradition of wall jumping. Using new methods of entry is simply not right, they're not entering where they're supposed to be." \
