Moderator's should generally warn before banning, if the ban reason isn't specifically laid out in the board rules.

Sounds great !!! That's a really good guideline for moderators.

But, I guess those rules don't apply to @Dima? He banned folks without warning.

Like me. And a few others who were trying to help him do his job.

That was the ONLY time I have ever been banned from ANY forum in over TWENTY YEARS..

Flexibility plus thick-skin = successful moderator.

0 for 2 = unsuccessful moderator?

Now he's too embarrassed to correct his error(s).

Oh, well. Such is life.

I wonder -- how much satisfaction did he get from banning those folks, vs how much discontent he caused?

And is still causing ...

Resistance is futile !!
