Klac came out with good earnings tonight too:

MILPITAS, Calif. (AP) _ KLA-Tencor Corp. (KLAC) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $369.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Milpitas, California-based company said it had net income of $2.42. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $2.44 per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.20 per share.

The maker of equipment for manufacturing semiconductors posted revenue of $1.12 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.07 billion.

KLA-Tencor shares have climbed 13 percent since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index has climbed slightly more than 5 percent. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $100.99, a drop of almost 10 percent in the last 12 months.
