For a PC, probably the best back-up device right now is SyQuest SparQ. For $199, you get a full 1 Gig to back up entire hard drives. 3 cartridges cost just $99, so for a total under $299, you get 4 full Gigs of removable backup. Plus, it is many times faster than Iomega Zip. From all reports, installation is a breeze, and the drive works flawlessly, unlike Iomega's notoriously unreliable 1 Gig Jaz.
