I guess its time to come to the defense of my profession. Many of you here that I've been chatting with know that I'm a CPA by trade. So being as disturbed by the pulling of the study by C&L as the rest of you are, I think the situation is worthy further study. It has been presented here that C&L is the auditor for EMC. I don't know that for fact, but will assume it correct. The fact that C&L audits EMC doesn't preclude them from providing someone with a study about the products available in the mass storage market. Several questions need to be addressed in this matter. First, who asked for it and who is paying the bill? Secondly, does C&L have a consulting division that acts seperately from its auditors like many of its competitors (Arthur Anderson for example). This is probably the case and can be easily checked on. As an MTIC shareholder just like you guys, I was really excited about the news story and it did seem to lift the stock. I have never worked for C&L, but have a very good friend that does. I will speak with him tomorrow about the consulting and audit division and get his thoughts about C&L's actions and post them here.

I admit it, I stated earlier that I would "raise an eye brow" if C&L changed the study after it was released. I guess they didn't pull it to correct a misspelling. I'll post what I can find as soon as I know something else.
