Aspirin has it's side effects as well----BLEEDING. I take acetaminophen for aches and pains. I guess all in moderation.

As far as taking wine with aspirin, isn't that combining two blood thinners at once risky? I am not sure on that one.

Problem is most people think that over the counter drugs are safe. I think they are, but if you get a false sense of security because they are easy to buy, so they must be safe--NOT....but that brings up new issues.
