To all--

Some bad news and some good news.

First the bad- an article in the San Diego Union states that Qualcomm Personal Electronics is suffering a parts shortage and as a result has had to slow production and lay off some temporary workers.

The good- The shortage only affects the 800mhz phones, not the PCS phones.
They now have phones in inventory and will not miss any deliveries.
There are now seven production lines in place, soon to be eight. ( If memory serves me correctly, each line can produce approximately 100,000 phones per month.)

This "problem" looks like growing pains for a very rapidly growing business which, if corrected quickly will be a pebble on the highway to success.
