Only one line in new plant is producing. Two lines in old plant.

Are the projected 8 lines of production already built? As I understood only one line is completed and producing, plus the laboratory is completed.

The other 7 lines are to be built (plus the expense). So capacity could not tenfold, the best posibility is twofold, and with decrease margins one could see why First Call is talking about $0.90 for 1998.

1st qtr $0.09
2nd qtr $0.13
3rd qtr $0.24
4th qtr $0.35

They remind that the numbers do not add for the annual estimate.

Unless the Vivus thread knows better than First Call. I would not be surprised since First Call is always changing at the last minute calling for more and more till they go above the real earnings and then the dissapointment for 1 or 2 cents missing. Like the last report they called for $0.18.

Maybe the PE 10 is a very bullish statement from the Street willing to accept that in 1999 it will be better, so the price is stuck not able to go above $12.
