How else will you ensure that big tech, which happens to be hyper liberal, doesn't censor voices that are not liberal? How far will you accept the censorship of free speech? Corporations don't get to act with impunity in ways that subvert our freedoms and our Democracy. You know I'm very conservative on economics, monetary policy, and fiscal policy. I'm also libertarian when it comes to regulations. However, failure to enforce the freedom of speech EVERYWHERE is tantamount to destroying every other freedom we have. Freedom of speech is a foundational freedom in that without it, very few other freedoms are possible to sustain. Not sure why some can't understand the logic of that.
