Hi richadred,

There is a pattern of last minute bigger volume spikes.

I take that as the market maker accumulating shares for someone and then clearing his inventory into either his inventory account or a trader who has worked a deal - "You accumulate the shares and I'll buy them with a "mark up" or a dark pool reporting end of day transactions.

Either way it as a form of accumulation imo.
