John,

Earnings should be announced on 21 January. STMs exposure to the Asian market can mean many things; surely it may mean that they will not sell as much to Asian companies, but it also means that the cost of maintaining STMs production facilities in Asian countries will decrease, leading to lower production costs. I believe that 28% of STMs business is in the Asia Pacific region.
