Re: Was a fun last few minutes and after hours trading.

"Interactive Brokers has a software problem (aka bug) where the after hour bid/ask prices are “stale” on some issues. They no longer represent the actual NBBO bid/ask prices that are in effect."

That makes sense. I will check my Ameritrade account and compare. Unrelated, but I wonder if they're going to be any better since during real time each day, I occasionally see that they do not update current quotes as fast as IB. While a few seconds isn't critical, it doesn't give me the confidence to trade there.

"There are two ways to get up to date bid/ask prices in these cases:
2) Enter or change an IB buy/sell order that is set for after hours trading."

Can you quantify that? Is there a specific setting for an after hours trade? If I'm trading AH, I have always just placed a new order in AH and if at the market, it got filled.

Thanks for the feedback.
