I was chatting with a fuel truck driver this week, I had always thought most of our jet fuel was trucked or barged up from the USA, seems a lot is being railed in then loaded on tankers for delivery to airports, people are whining about pipe lines yet rolling rail bombs are going by many communities every day. build the damn pipeline and leave rail cars for grain and other safer commodities, we had a disaster in the making last year when a tanker trailer was hit by a train in a Port Coquitlam rail yard. the female driver just barely escaped with minor injuries, luckily the loaded rail cars did not catch on fire. the tanker truck ended up a molten pile of scrap, imagine what would have happened if the rail cars had caught fire.
