Classic straw man argument; in fact many people would prefer the hydrocarbons not be transported at all by any means.
But of course you are not interested in having an actual discussion, given the way you insult anyone who disagrees with you. You just want to shout them down, in the way ideologues always do.
BTW, I did not fly at all last year, in fact it's been years since I have been in an airplane, and I drove less than 50 km, almost all of it in a hybrid. And yes, I am well aware that many of the things I use rely for their manufacture or distribution on hydrocarbons. I can't wait till the necessary coming change will obviate that, a change I think will happen in my lifetime, and I am over 60.
