I heard Abbey Cohen said a week or two ago that
Microsoft should be in everyone's portfolio.
Fortunately for me stop loss order means I got
back what I PUT in...oh to think I could have
doubled my money and had to settle for being even.
I still think this one has putting potential, the
DOJ will prevent W98 from being IE, but I dont
want to put MSFT before earnings either. There
have got to be better things to put or short anyway,
maybe DIMD or AOL--but puts are so damn expensive,
I couldn't beleive the premiums on FEB AOL puts
when I looked at them the other day. I am still
smarting from not having shorted Seagate and S3,
two excellent calls I made in the past year, but
for which I did not have the discipline (and for
that matter the resources) to carry out.
