I don't know. Some of the stories I hear about GITMO makes me wonder if they aren't living the high life there.

Anyone who has never been to visit Alcatraz, really should try to do it. And while looking in those tiny cell blocks, imagine being there at night. I never wanted to wait for the last ferry to get off the island. Silly? I know.

Of course, in the Alcatraz solitary confinement cells, it didn't matter much, there was almost no light getting in. On one of my visits (with various family) out there, I conjured up enough courage to actually walk into one of them, and I turned around immediately and went out.

It was unimaginable how small, dark, cold and terrifying it was inside - they have solid doors and the bars are a couple of feet inside the solid doors. I think there might be a very small window outside of the bar barriers - or maybe in the door.
