Howdy KRL,
Yes, patience is a key characteristic for survival in this market.
Did some checking on your Cumberland comment and found the following.
The Meliadine West project is 20km north of Rankin Inlet in the Kivalliq region of Nunavut (NWT) and is held 22% each by Cumberland Resources and Comaplex Minerals and 56% by WMC International.
Cumberland Resources Ltd CBD Shares issued 22669001
So with Cumberland having twice the float of Flag, and only owning about 1/5 the deposit, this would be equal to Flag finding 300,000 ounces, if my math is correct.
From the latest I'm hearing, I think we are looking as something much bigger than 300,000 ounces, but only time will tell. The drilling continues, and we should get some assay results in the next week or two, followed by more assays as they are completed. Looks like 1998 is going to be a great year for Flag.
Best Wishes,
