Dear Josh,
Discovered many links at the Ad Astra thread no longer work.
Thank you for pointing this out. It has to do with the fact that the profile link URLs, over time, were put into the Ad Astra page header in several different formats:

1. _http://siliconinvestor.com/profile.aspx?userid=xxxxx
2. _https://siliconinvestor.com/profile.aspx?userid=xxxxx
3. _http://www.siliconinvestor.com/profile.aspx?userid=xxxxx
4. _https://www.siliconinvestor.com/profile.aspx?userid=xxxxx

Current times, the format is _https://www.siliconinvestor.com/profile.aspx?userid=xxxxx if you copy and paste from your address bar, but this was not always the case.

I've fixed up the URL parser in our function that serves pages to replace any of the above formats with just "profile.aspx?userid=xxxxx" during the process of adding in the hyperlink anchors. Because these are in-site URLs, the protocol and domain prefixes are not required for your web browser to know what to do.

This fix does not apply for those SI Members who have "Disable URL Shortening" turned on in their settings (this is not the default). The page render engine does not attempt to correct or simplify hyperlinked URLs when URL shortening is disabled.

Regards,

@Dima
