Excellent line of questioning. I've known about exactly that kind of corruption for a very long time. How do you think Pelosi got rich? How did Hillary? How do any of these Congresspeople and Senators get rich? They are engaging in malign activity that would be a crime of insider trading if you were just a normal person, but they get away with it, because they pass laws that hold all of us accountable but give themselves and exception.

If only AOC wasn't a Socialist. Maybe she could have done some good by turning her energy towards corruption, which is really the problem in our country. Cronyism is the problem, not Capitalism. Socialism is not the solution, precisely because Socialism always comes with an enormous amount of corruption. Socialism and Corruption are two sides of the same coin. Properly regulated Capitalism and properly enforced laws and regulations at every level is the solution. But we now have a legal and Justice system that lets the rich and powerful and connected get away with crimes, while the 99% gets put in jail for any little infraction. These are the real problems.
