Peter,

I too shorted in the fall. One never knows how high things things can go and it is best to just short in small quantities. These small float / large short interest stocks are really dangerouse, but I don't really regret doing this, yet. :)

I could have said the same thing for EGRP and had I waited I'd have missed out. In fact only reason I didn't short AMZN in the $30's is because I couldn't get shares (lucky I guess). IMO, AMZN is an excellent short at anything over $40. I won't really add to my position since I'm in pretty deep already and there are plenty of other stocks to play around with also.

The reason I hate 'put' options is, as you said, the premiums on stocks like this are too darn high!
