In a related move, Louis J. Monari, 47, was named vice president of administration.

Mr. Marston, who has served as Intek's interim CFO previously, is currently the controller of Intek. He will continue to be based at the Torrance, California, headquarters of Intek's RoameR One 220 MHz network services subsidiary.

Commenting on the new appointments, Intek Chairman and CEO Robert J. We're especially pleased that he has agreed to take on the additional responsibilities of chief financial officer in this important interim period.

''Lou Monari brings to Intek his extensive administrative background in high-growth companies. His unique blend of major corporate and mid-market entrepreneurial experience in both the domestic and international sectors, will be invaluable as our company continues to grow.''

Before joining Intek, Mr. Marston was an independent consultant operating his own firm, DGM Financial Management, based in Laguna Niguel, California. Prior to that, he held positions as either vice president of finance, treasurer, or controller of a number of California-based companies. He also served as a senior consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.

Mr. Marston earned B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Southern California and is also a certified public accountant (CPA).

Mr. Monari comes to Intek from Digital Solutions, Inc., where he was vice president, corporate secretary and general manager. Previously, he was the president of Holgate Associates, a management consulting firm which he co-founded. Prior to Holgate, he held various management positions at RJR Nabisco, Inc.

Mr. Monari holds a M.B.A. degree from Seton Hall University and a B.S. degree from the University of Rhode Island.
