And they need to pay a lot more as based on the historical tax laws over the last 100 years. This country can no longer stand by while the middle and and lower classes bare the lion share of tax on their disposable income. It just isn’t fair nor equitable. In the last 30 years the Republicans have greatly reduced the taxes on the rich and on Corporate America. The argument that it is more important for the upper class to retain more and more of their incomes so has a incentive for them to reinvest in America is pure rubbish. How long will the Republicans continue to govern only for the benefit of the rich and at the expense of all other social and economic classes ? It must stop. Out nations Debt to GDP is growing at unsustainable rate. Where has our fiscal restraints gone. Where is our fiscal responsibility. Why is it the Republicans have expanded the deficits with each new Administration that sets foot in the Whitehouse. It is pathetic that the American Electoral College has given the Republican Parties the two Republican Whitehouses.
