I think AOC would have been famous regardless. I've seen her on multiple interviews and watched her on social media. I think she actually is a pretty talented social media politician. She has an instinct for what her generation wants to hear. She knows how to express it on social media to gain a mass audience. And she picks issues that have a high controversy profile. All of these things made her well known. Whether the right piled on to her or not, really isn't the reason she is popular. I'll tell you something else. She's pretty and articulate, and charming. In short, she's 29 years old, but she's every inch the politician. I find myself wanting her to be successful, but wishing she wasn't a darned socialist, because intellectually, I have to oppose her, because I know for a fact socialism does not work. Again, I've told this to my conservative friends as well. Everyone is underestimating AOC.
