Wapta Lake BC relatively level terrain ,, ((IT IS BESIDE A Lake !!!)) less than 10 kilometres east of where CP management decided to change crews on 2 % grade resulting in the unnecessary ,senseless ,deaths of three CP crew members.

Criminally negligent, especially after Lac Megantic disaster.

Did CP management learn anything from Lac Megantic disaster?? No !

The culture inherited from Hunter Harrison is to work the road crews to the last minute ,,12 hours,,and then relieve them , with no concerns of the dangers of steep terrain change off.

It is criminally negligent to be that stupid.

Astronaut Garneau decrees from his comfortable office chair in tall tower “”put on hand brakes”” ....let’s see,,

because management has decided to work the crew to the last minute,, then one man is required to crank on 40 hand brakes because on a 2% or better grade ,,at 5 minutes minimum per car ,,through the snow ,,

and then walk back again . Superman!!..

The relieving crew has to knock them off.

The only way this culture will change is if they have to pay through the nose or jail for the top dog.

Very, very sad.
