Wharfie, a textbook example of how government WASTES money. From the article:

So according to Moonbeam Jr., we have to spend money to save money. It costs too much to cut our losses, so we need to keep increasing our losses until we have something that will never, ever recoup the costs.

And oh yeah, we're also doing this to stimulate the Central Valley economy. Because, you know, they just LOVE Sacramento, AMIRITE?
