I don't think it's coincidence that on the day an interview with a serious, thoughtful, lifetime patriot like Andrew McCabe includes the statement that Donald Trump may be an agent of Russia....on that day Donald Trump declares a National Emergency for fake reasons. Donald Trump's skill is a con man's skill- diversion. His base will cackle about the invasion. Some with short attention spans or insufficient news sources will ignore or not know about McCabe's concerns.

If I had to bet I'd say no one knew the emergency was going to be declared because Trump decided to counter McCabe on impulse with bigger news.
