My point is not that the emergency has anything to do with the book. It has to do with the news cycle. Indy 1 sits around all day like a basement slacker watching cable news. The McCabe interview with Pelly is huge. A former FBI chief saying the president may be a Russian agent. The slacker is also known as impulsive and unable to focus. The slacker is also not so smart. The slacker does, however, understand the power of the press and the news cycle. Bingo...National Emergency.
