Joon, re: "It's the SCSI internal retail drives that seem to be in shortage."

Sorry, I'm sticking by my story. I just called up two local dealers, asked specifically about an internal SCSI Zip, both said they did not have any there, and put me on hold for a minute to check with the wholesaler they used (I have no idea who, for either shop), and said they could get one within a couple of days because they were in stock at the wholesaler.

BTW, as for "I was hoping to see the ATAPI Zip in retail boxes soon," one of the shops suggested I get an ATAPI which they had there if I wanted a Zip today (did not say if it was in a retail box, however). I really don't think that it is Iomega which is "restricting" the supply, but the big chains who can't (won't) carry everything for everybody, and this is where they stopped.
